Built to the same standard, wherever it's cast.
"Made in the Far East" still carries an outdated reputation with some UK buyers. It's a fair thing to be cautious about, so we've built quality control into every stage of the process rather than treating it as a single, final check before your parts ever leave the country of manufacture.
Every part is checked at every stage in the process.
Partner audit & approval
We only produce through manufacturing partners that have passed our own audit of their equipment, process control and track record. Failing our audit means we don't place work there — no exceptions for price.
First article inspection
Before any tool is released for production, first-off parts are fully dimensioned against your drawing and material composition is verified against the specified alloy.
In-process inspection
Dimensional and visual checks continue through the production run at set intervals, not just at the start and end of it.
Pre-shipment inspection
Parts are inspected before they ever leave the country of manufacture — caught there is cheaper and faster to fix than caught after a six-week shipment.
Full traceability
Every batch is traceable back to its raw material and production run, so if a question ever comes up months later, we can answer it precisely — not approximately.
On certifications: we document alloy composition and dimensional results for every batch and can supply material certificates on request. If you need us to hold or work to a specific formal quality standard (e.g. ISO 9001) for your own supplier approval process, tell us during onboarding and we'll confirm exactly what we can provide before you sign off on us as a supplier.
