Every casting process, one supplier.
Whatever route your part needs — high-pressure for high volumes, gravity or low-pressure for structural aluminium components, or sand and investment casting where steel is the right material — it's sourced, tooled, CNC machined to your drawing specifications and quality-checked through the same Solstice process, with the same UK oversight.
No finished drawing yet? We can get you to one.
Not every project starts with a finished CAD file. Our design team can take a sketch, a rough dimension, an existing part, or just a description of what the component needs to do, and turn it into a manufacturable 3D model — designed for casting from the outset, not adapted to it afterwards.
Choose the process. We choose the right partner for it.
High Pressure Die Casting
For high-volume aluminium and zinc parts needing tight tolerances, thin walls and a good as-cast surface finish straight out of the tool.
Gravity Die Casting Permanent mould
Aluminium parts where mechanical strength and pressure-tightness matter more than cycle time — housings, brackets and structural components.
Low Pressure Die Casting
Larger, thicker-section aluminium castings that benefit from controlled, low-turbulence filling — lower porosity, more consistent grain structure.
Zinc Die Casting Zamak
Fine detail, thin walls and excellent dimensional stability for smaller precision components — ideal where aluminium can't hold the detail.
Steel Casting Sand & Investment
For structural and wear-resistant parts where steel's strength is needed over aluminium or zinc. Steel's melting point puts it outside conventional die-casting tooling, so these parts are produced by sand or investment casting instead — sourced, inspected and delivered through the same UK-managed process as the rest of the range.
HPDC, machined to print
A high pressure die cast aluminium housing, produced through one of our audited partner foundries and shown here after CNC machining. The bore has been machined and threaded, mounting faces finished flat, and ports opened to size — the volume and detail of HPDC, brought to the tolerances your assembly actually needs.

A gravity die cast aluminium housing, produced through one of our audited partner foundries and shown here after CNC machining. The flange faces have been machined flat, the bore and ports finished to size, and mounting holes drilled to print — the strength and pressure-tightness gravity die casting is chosen for, brought to the tolerances your assembly needs.

Cast is the starting point. Machined to your print is the deliverable.
Every part that needs it is milled, turned or drilled to your finished dimensions as part of the same production run — not farmed out afterwards to a separate machine shop. It's why the parts that reach you are ready to fit, not just ready to cast.
Delivered ready to fit, not just ready to cast.
Beyond machining, most parts still need finishing before they're ready to fit. We coordinate these operations alongside the production run, so what arrives in the UK is finished, not half-done.
